WHAT IS FNEL?

Our origins

FNEL (Fédération Nationale des Eclaireurs et Eclaireuses du Luxembourg) was founded in 1914, and in 1922 it was one of the founding members of what we now know as WOSM (World Organisation of the Scout Movement), the umbrella organization for over 57 million boys and girls in scouting worldwide.

FNEL is a founding member of Scouting in Luxembourg (SIL). HRH Heriditary Grand-Duke Guillaume is the Chief Scout of Luxembourg.
